Grass Lake Community Schools
Grass Lake Theater Society - Presents 2 Spring Shows
The Grass Lake Theater Society is hard at work to bring another night of fun and frivolity to the stage - this time with two plays - Dancing with the Olympians by Lavinia Roberts and Pandemonium by J.D. Atkins.
With a one act play, our middle schoolers will open our night of theater, in a hilarious spoof of Dancing with the Stars. Greek gods and goddesses comically compete (if you can call it that) in, Dancing with the Olympians, judged by Athena, Nike, Poseidon, and Hestia, and hosted by the mischievous Hermes.
Then, in a full length play, our high schoolers take the stage and create modern-day New York City. Private detective and goddess of wisdom Minerva Owler, aided by her Olympian siblings, races against time to solve the murder of her father, Zeus, and prevent impending Pandemonium.
Honestly, Nick and I have never seen these students this excited for a production (and this group is always excited). The energy these students are bringing to the stage will absolutely make for an exciting night for the audience that you will not want to miss.
Tickets will be on sale soon at grasslake.ludus.com.
